NCAPEC provides its members high-profile platforms to discuss a wide range of policy issues with senior U.S. and Asian leaders. NCAPEC works to create opportunities for U.S. companies to convey top priorities to Leaders, Ministers, and working-level staff from the 21 APEC economies.
NCAPEC’s signature policy event, the Executive Roundtable, brings together business representatives and government officials for discussions on top trade and economic issues affecting the region. The Roundtable is held at the beginning of the year, allowing the outcomes of discussions to be taken forward in subsequent APEC and ABAC meetings.
NCAPEC holds its Annual Luncheon during APEC Leaders Week. This festive event is an opportunity for NCAPEC members and business and government representatives from around the Asia-Pacific to gather outside the confines of plenary halls and meeting rooms for informal discussions and networking. Past keynote speakers at the luncheon include Robert Zoellick, former USTR, and John Kerry, former U.S. Secretary of State.
Over the course of the year, members also received priority consideration for invitations to informal dinners and issue briefings with government officials, ABAC briefings, and outreach events, as well as the APEC CEO Summit.
